Don't let data loss ruin your Spring

It's Springtime, the grass getting greener and the birds are starting to chirp. At our office we've already had our windows open to let in the fresh breeze. It's a time for renewal and the visual signs of change are friendly reminders of many things...including data backup plans.

Have you ever experienced a hard drive crash? If you answered yes, then you know the importance of having a readily available backup copy (no matter if that is means an external hard drive or simply a DVD or CD copy)

If you answered no, then just remember that it's not a question of if your primary hard drive will fail, it a matter of when.

How many of you have put off buying that backup hard drive or NAS device this year?

If you are preparing for Spring cleaning, go ahead and make plans for Spring data backup...and then remember to backup daily or at least weekly.
